First Impressions
Normally I’d be swayed away from a disposable but after my budtender at Maryland recreational marijuana dispensary, Story, told me about the 2 for $40 deal that they were running I figured I couldn’t go wrong. Plus, I’m in love with the orangey flavors, so this ones right up my alley, but keep in mind my review may be biased since I know that the orange terps are a weird one for some people to like.
Genetics and Terpenes
The Tropicana strain is a result of crossing (Pineapple and Kali Mist) and Northern Lights #5 that is sativa leaning 70/30. The dominant terpenes are beta-myrcene and beta-caryophyllene and this batch is 5.16% terpenes in total.
Looks and Hardware
The disposable vape itself is the thickness of a regular 510 threaded cart, so it's pretty thin but the tank with the distillate in it is not removable. I’m not exactly sure what the hardware is but I haven’t had any issues with clogging, my only complaint is the lack of a charger.
Taste
I love the delicious and refreshing sweet orange taste. This is a must try for wake and bakes because it hits just right in the morning. I can't confirm 100% but due to the taste, I think these have cannabis derived terpenes.
Effects
I like having a good vape for on the go use, especially something with a sativa buzz. While this Tropicana Disposable Vape started off with a quick head rush and a somewhat spacey mentality, the initial raceyness settled and left me floating around with enough energy to get after the day.
Final Thoughts
This disposable has its drawbacks, specifically the lack of a charger, since no one likes when the battery dies leaving oil stuck inside. The solution for me was simple, don’t give it a chance to die and just finish it before it gives out, but I know that’s not as simple for others to do. I’d recommend this for certain situations but I wouldn't rely on it as my main device, even though I practically did the days after getting it! I found myself going back to this vape again and again because I liked the taste so much and because of that I’m giving these the Certified Stoner stamp of approval!
