I love rosin and it's my favorite way to consume cannabis. I love how it captures the full essence of the plant while dabbing it on low temps is such an enjoyable experience. There comes a point in time where I can’t just smoke joints all day every day so my next best option for a premium smoking experience is to load up a glob of this Trop Cherries rosin that I got from Maryland recreational dispensary Haven MD, into my banger.
Genetics and Terpenes
The Trop Cherries strain is a result of crossing Tropicana Cookies X Cherry Cookies that is sativa leaning 60/40. The dominant terpenes are b-caryophyllene and Linalool and this batch is 7.3% terpenes.
Looks and Consistency
The rosin has a nice, wet look from the terpenes, and is a perfect amber/cream color. The consistency is soft and doesn't just crumble apart. This looks like some really nice rosin.
Scent
Putting off the exact scent I expect from a Trop Cherries batch this is some propper smelling rosin. The aroma is cherry dominant but has hints of orange, tangie terps.
Taste
The flavor profile was opposite the scent, with the dominant flavor leaning very heavily into the Tropicana Cookies in its genetics with slight undertones of a cherry taste.
Effects
A few minutes after finishing my dab of Trop Cherries, the effects began to hit. The initial head rush was intense and euphoric, filling me with an overwhelming sense of happiness. The burst of energy this strain provided lasted for hours, keeping me invigorated and motivated throughout the day. I couldn't stop laughing and felt a strong urge to explore the creative corners of my mind.
Final Thoughts
If you have never tried rosin then now is definitely the time to try some out. The flavor profile is distinct and allows you to taste the plant in its most pure form. Beezle knocked this one out of the park and I’d easily pick up more of their rosin when I get the chance. I haven’t even finished this jar of Trop Cherries rosin yet but I know I’m giving it the Certified Stoners stamp of approval, be sure to check this one out!
