First Impressions
I’ve haven’t actually tried the Member Berry flower after seeing so many good things about it, but I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a concentrated version of one of Maryland's favorite strains in circulation so when I saw it at recreational dispensary, Dispensary Works in White Plains, Maryland it was a pretty easy decision to grab some. I’m a low temp and flavor kind of guy so I started this out at 500°… Lets see how this dabs, Cheers!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Member Berry strain is a result of crossing Skunkberry and Mandarin Sunset that is a balanced hybrid at 50/50. The dominant terpene is beta-myrcene at over 6% terps and this batch is 9.81% total terpenes.
Looks and Consistency
The live resin is a golden hue with wet shimmering terps covering the surface. It’s surprisingly stable and doesn’t lose its form factor after being on a shelf for a few hours but when I dig into it with my tool the sugary consistency appears.
Scent
I get an overwhelming rush of sweet berries when I twist the top off with underlying notes of lavender escaping.
Taste
A taste that matches the smell, this Member Berry is super berry forward with a warm sensation to it. From the first hit to the lingering aftertaste, pretty much all I get from its flavor is berries.
Effects
Member Berry hit me quickly with an all-around happy buzz that was impossible to ignore. The effects started with a gentle body tingle that spread throughout, making me feel pleasantly relaxed yet fully aware. It had a unique way of putting me in the mood, keeping me functional, and allowing me to be present in the moment without feeling overwhelmed.
Final Thoughts
I also noticed that this strain had powers allowing me to reminisce on random thoughts from the past. Although my thoughts were real memories and weren’t directed by magical little purple grapes I enjoyed the calming break a dab of this Member Berry provided. If you’ve never seen the “Member Berries” skits in South Park, I highly recommend grabbing some Member Berry to dab on while watching it. So if you're thinking about grabbing some, just ‘member that it got the Certified Stoners stamp of approval!
