First Impressions
Before rosin became super popular I was always dabbing on some sugar, so grabbing this Caramel Cream from New Jersey recreational cannabis dispensary, Fire and Oak was like a blast from the past. It’s really clean live resin sugar that’s produced by ONYX, which I have a really good feeling that I’ll be checking out more of their products really soon!
Genetics and Terpenes
The Caramel Cream strain is a result of a triple cross between Royal Highness X Old School Cookies X Humboldt Reserve OG that is a balanced hybrid. The dominant terpenes are limonene and caryophyllene and this batch is 6.74% total terpenes.
Looks and Consistency
This sugar is sparkling, with a nice resinous orange glow to it. The consistency is sugary and breaks apart as little grains of sugar when the dab tool runs through it.
Scent
The scent is sweet and smooth with a creamy undertone that gives this a really clean aroma.
Taste
The initial hit on this dab is sweet and creamy, that's super smooth on the exhale with no burn at all leaving a nice aftertaste of herbs and floral lavender.
Effects
The effects are smooth like the flavor, they aren’t super energetic but also aren’t super sedating. It’s a nice medium that allows me to do a range of different things without being too stoned. It was great for enhancing my appetite, as I was always hungry when smoking this strain. It’s a great hybrid that continued to prove its balance dab after dab!
Final Thoughts
This was a great gram of live resin sugar and the team at ONYX. They should be proud of the quality of products they are putting out, and with such variety too the options are endless. Check out this Caramel Cream live resin sugar because its getting the Certified Stoners stamp of approval from us!
