First Impressions

I’m familiar with MPX from my time as a medical patient down in the state of Florida. I tried a bunch of their rosin since it was always quality for a relatively cheaper price tag. That’s why when I saw it at New Jersey recreational dispensary Daylite Cannabis, I was really glad MPX stayed consistent when coming into the New Jersey market with some really good rosin for an affordable price.

Genetics and Terpenes

The Wookie Pie strain is a result of crossing Wookies and Grape Pie that is indica leaning 70/30. The dominant terpenes are limonene and b-caryophyllene and this batch is 5.23% total terpenes.

Looks and Consistency

The rosin is a nice creamy tan color and pools of terp puddles. The consistency is light, fluffy and wet. It can be pretty easily manipulated without fear of it crumbling up.

Scent

Once the top is popped an Intriguing funky musk fills the room and is the only thing I can smell.

Taste

A mouth watering sweet tartness on the inhales with a smooth gassiness on the exhale.

Effects

Wookie Pie hit me with a heavy body high that significantly eased the pain in my lower back. The effects set in smoothly, starting with full body effects that alleviated my discomfort. The physical relief was complemented by a clear mind, free of negative thoughts. This strain helped me take on a more positive outlook, leaving me happily content.

Final Thoughts

While I will dab other forms of concentrate, I ultimately prefer solventless products over any other form. You can’t beat the taste and the full spectrum effects work so well to relax my nerves and keep me relaxed. Wookie Pie is a great example of some budget friendly rosin that is now widely available across the state. As a great option from MPX this Wookie Pie gets the Certified Stoners stamp of approval!
